Love Is All You Need Soundtrack Review: This is a review of the film score Love Is All You Need by Johan Soderqvist.

Summer is ripe for romantic comedies and this one really is made for summer listening as well. Every cue is so warm and charming with instruments such as the harmonica or accordion. It really makes for a great summer listening. The score itself is as you would expect. It’s very light and minimalistic and sounds quasi French and Italian in style. The famous love song Amore also get the Soderqvist treatment and it’s as nice as ever. You also have a bossa nova type of track in ‘Moving In’. It’s the mixtape for the summer!

As charming as it is, I don’t think I will listen to it after the summer is over or having too many fond memories of this. There are a couple of cues that stood out for me, but I have to say I got bored towards the end. It’s charming, and it’s a fun, light summer score, nothing more, nothing less.
