Spartacus War Of The Damned Soundtrack Review: This is a review of the television score Spartacus War Of The Damned by Joseph LoDuca.

Spartacus is a kick-ass television series and it kept being good even when the actor who played the main character in season one sadly passed away. The music by Joseph LoDuca is appropriate as well and has been improving with every season of the series. War Of The Damned further improves on the formula which is ancient war music with lots of shouting and choir. It works and it sounds pretty damn good.

If I were to compare it to another score, I would say it’s a light version of God Of War, perhaps not as hard, but what makes this score different from that are the more quiet cues like ‘Remembrance; Honor The Fallen’ which is just a beautiful thematic finale, very dreamy, but very real as well. I love the voices in this cue, powerful yet dignified. It all comes together to create the best score of the series so far.
