We Steal Secrets – The Story Of Wikileaks Soundtrack Review: This is a review of the documentary score We Steal Secrets – The Story Of Wikileaks by Fall On Your Sword.

I love watching documentaries and this seem like an interesting one. Usually documentary scores are very interesting as well, and if there’s one word I would use for this score, it’s interesting. It’s a weird mix of electronic music and classical. Unfortunately, I feel that this music is best heard in the documentary itself and there’s no shame in that really. There are loads of scores that sounds brilliant in films, but not on album.

The main theme of the score is this weird, almost sci-fi like dripping sound that are present in a lot of cues like ‘Wankworm’ and ‘Julian’s Defense’. It’s really hard to enjoy a theme like that outside of the movie, and even though I tried hard to like it after repeated listens, I just couldn’t. Buy it if you want a companion to the movie, but not if you want a great standalone listen.
